This place suits me perfectly. It offers free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and an infinity pool. I remember how the staff helped me find directions on my first stay. I’m coming back for Christmas!

Overall, the experience at Mahekal was enjoyable with beautiful gardens and a lovely beach atmosphere. However, the noise from the nearby public beach was quite bothersome, and the dining options felt repetitive after a few days. Despite these downsides, the staff was attentive, adding to the positive experience.

The steep stairs to the palapa rooms are poorly lit, creating a sketchy experience at night!!! Seating around the pool is ridiculously limited, and security could use a friendlier approach!!! The evening food options leave much to be desired!!!

The pools are stunning, and the gardens are so beautifully maintained. Enjoyed lounging in the shaded hammocks near my room and loved the easy access to the beach. Don't miss the amazing drinks from the swim-up bar!

However, I faced some difficulty in adjusting the AC temperature, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

The resort was quite beautiful on the inside, and we really enjoyed lounging in the hammocks by our Ocean View Palapa King Bed! ! The staff was unbelievably friendly, making our stay feel extra special, especially when Rosa helped us plan a fantastic dinner that was truly unforgettable.
